David Archuleta - Another Tour Perhaps?

Mali

David Archuleta’s Asian tour proved he is the voice on repeat play in your brain as you move through your day.  The one who makes you say who is that guy?  His low notes are sumptuous, reaching effortlessly, coming from the deepest part of his soul.  His phrasing is impeccable and David knows how to project a lyric by singing every word with style that is smooth, warm and intimate.

His popularity is enormous and fans shower him with love, attention and gifts that reflect their culture, making a statement of who they are and how his music affects their world.
Songs have a major impact on the emotional state of the listener.  The emotions invoked by music influence not only our ears, but our eyes as well.

David is a rare and natural talented singer who has great charisma and is a wholesome young man who never lets success go to his head.

He is not involved with drugs as so many young people in the Entertainment business is, and he is a loyal son and friend who radiate peace and love.  People young and old are naturally drawn to him.

Music has long been an expression of people from different cultures around the world.  However, no matter how much music may differ in different parts of the world, it seems that David’s music has served a general common purpose, bringing people together.
Music is a way to affect change in society and David’s music has a way to mobilize and inspire listeners to think differently and take action.

Recently, at a dinner party I met a woman from Thailand who is a fan of David’s and hopes one day he will come to perform in her country.  I was intrigued by their customs and interaction with singing artists.  Thai fans spend considerable amounts of time and money following their favorite stars just as we do.

However, the giving of “Mali’s” is one way Thai fans show appreciation to singers.  (Jasmine flowers locally called ‘Mali’, which is also a symbol of a mother.  It appears in common Thai gardens for its fragrance.) Also the giving of money with the Mali at concerts has been acceptable.  Fans judge singers on whether they wear them during a performance or if they take them home or not.

David’s fondness for Thai food may just peak his interest in a Thailand concert, but I am trying to imagine how David would handle these kinds of appreciations from fans.  How awkward, but knowing David he probably would just make sure they were donated to local charities within the city.

As summer fades, fall and winter will be upon us in no time, and that brings hope to US fans that an energetic and soulful David can honor us with a beautiful and emotional Christmas tour.  What better gift can we receive, an Angel singing Gods love?
